چکیده

In the unconstrained MSSM, we reanalyze the constraints on the phases of supersymmetric flavour conserving couplings that follow from the electron and neutron electric dipole moments (EDM). We find that the constraints become weak if at least one exchanged superpartner mass is > O(1 TeV) or if we accept large cancellations among different contributions. However, such cancellations have no evident underlying symmetry principle. For light superpartners, models with small phases look like the easiest solution to the experimental EDM constraints. This conclusion becomes stronger the larger is the value of tanβ. We discuss also the dependence of ǫK , ∆mB and b → sγ decay on those phases. This work was supported in part by the Polish Committee for Scientific Research under the grant numbers 2 P03B 052 16 and 2 P03B 030 14 (J.R.) and by French-Polish Programme POLONIUM.

The Constraints on CP Violating Phases in models with a dynamical gluino phase

We have analyzed the electric dipole moment and the Higgs mass constraints on the supersymmetric model which offers dynamical solutions to the μ and strong CP problems. The trilinear coupling phases, and tanβ − |μ| are strongly correlated, particularly in the low-tan β regime. Certain values of the phases of the trilinear couplings are forbidden, whereas the CP violating phase from the chargino...

Lepton Number Violation in Decays of Supersymmetric Particles

We discuss lepton flavour violating signals at the LHC in the framework of supersymmetric theories. We consider R-parity conserving as well as R-parity violating scenarios. In the case of R-parity conservation we show that in decays of supersymmetric particles large regions in parameter exist where lepton flavour violating decay modes have large branching ratios despite the stringent constraint...

Reevaluating Bounds on Flavor-Changing Neutral Current Parameters in R-Parity Conserving and R-Parity Violating Supersymmetry

We perform a systematic reevaluation of the constraints on the flavor-changing neutral current (FCNC) parameters in R-parity conserving and R-parity violating supersymmetric models. As a typical process, we study the constraints coming from the measurements on the B-B0 system on the supersymmetric δ 13 parameters, as well as on the products of the λ type R-parity violating couplings. Present da...

Supersymmetric renormalisation of the CKM matrix and new constraints on the squark mass matrices

We compute the finite renormalisation of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix induced by gluino–squark diagrams in the MSSM with non-minimal sources of flavour violation. Subsequently we derive bounds on the flavour–off–diagonal elements of the squark mass matrices by requiring that the radiative corrections to the CKM elements do not exceed the experimental values. Our constraints on the...
